A Subscriber will have to define various stages (tasks) what a consignment has to follow before reaching to its completion. is created in such a way that these stages can be different for different subscribers.

Provisions are provided to define different stages for each of the different mode and type. Viz. a Subscriber can have different stages for Air Import, Air Export, Sea Import and Sea Export.

For example stages for Air Export can be:-

Document Received
Custom Formalities
Cargo Handed over to Airlines
Cargo Handed over to Consignee.

A stage can even be associated with a color so that a shipment will be shown in the color of the stage it has reached. For example if you associate green color with Cargo Handed over to Consignee then the consignment which has reached this stage will be shown in green color.

As a Subscriber, you can even enable your agent to update their part of tasks as well.  For Example you can enable your agent to update Cargo Handed over to consignee as this is the responsibility of your agent.
